Welcome to SARATHI. We are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your information in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023.

2. Information We Collect

We collect personal details (name, email, institution, batch) and psychometric data (60-question assessment responses). Our services are intended for individuals aged 18 and above. If you are under 18, please obtain parental or guardian consent before using this platform.

3. How We Use & Store Your Information

We use data to generate personalized roadmaps via AI analysis. Your data is stored on secure servers provided by Supabase located in the AWS Mumbai (ap-south-1) region, ensuring data residency within India. AI analysis is performed via the Google Gemini API. Google does not store or train on your inputs. By using this platform, you consent to this data processing.

4. Cookie & Analytics Disclosure

We use Vercel Analytics to understand traffic patterns. This service collects anonymised usage data. No personally identifiable information is shared with Vercel Analytics.

5. Sharing Information

We do not sell data. Aggregated placement readiness data may be shared with institutional partners (colleges/TPOs) for students joining via a campus link. Your detailed individual roadmap remains private to you.

6. Grievance Officer

In accordance with the DPDP Act 2023, the details of our Grievance Officer are available on our Data Grievance Officer page.

7. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from this policy shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

8. Your Rights under the DPDP Act, 2023

Under the DPDP Act, 2023, you (the Data Principal) have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right to Access: You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to Correction: You have the right to request the correction of any inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
  • Right to Erasure: You have the right to request the permanent deletion of your personal data, including psychometric responses, generated reports, and chat history.
  • Right to Withdraw Consent: You have the right to withdraw your consent for data processing at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, please email admin@sarathiapp.in with the subject line "Data Grievance Request." We will process your request within 72 hours.

9. Explicit Consent & Withdrawal

Before taking the psychometric assessment, you will be presented with a structured consent notice. By checking the consent box, you provide explicit, informed consent for the collection and AI-based processing of your psychometric data under the DPDP Act, 2023. This consent timestamp and the exact consent text are stored securely in our database with your assessment record.
